I ate a fortune cookie every night during my last semester of college because I enjoyed receiving some other worldly wisdom and insight into my life from a cracker. To be honest, I needed this "wisdom". I was working 40 hours a week at a design agency while going to school and I was perhaps desperate for some affirmation that it would all be worth it. This inspired my poster series, Fortunate. Each poster displays a fortune that I received during my final semester of school that provided me with the inspiration and motivation to not only live through this tumultuous and chaotic time in my life, but to thrive in it with confidence and tenacity towards my goals.
